Re: Electrical issues....

I have taken the covers off, and found my red wire from the battery, the one with the fuse in it, is just laying there. Any help to where that goes back into. Also, a negative wire is also laying loose, the other negative wires are tied toghether, does this one belong there?

I got the spree running great, but now seem to have an electrical issue that I need help on. I know nothing about electrical so before I dive in, I need some direction.

Spree was running great, then I seen someone I know going down the street, I stopped, turned off the spree and talked. Then when I ...

Re: Kick stand kill switch

Is there any easy way to elimate the safety switch that only allows you to start the spree when it's on the kick stand. It's been causing electral problems. Stalling for no reason ect.
I know a few people with sprees, and I honestly have never seen that before. Everyone I know can start whenever ...

Lunytune:
The seafoam pretty much becomes maintance free after putting in the tank correct? And also due to the spree's small fuel tank, do I use only a half bottle, or still the full bottle?
Good Lord NO! A 16 ounce can works in a full tank of automobile gas. In small engines, an ounce to a ...

Re: Please help me 1 more time!!.........

The best way to check the vent is install the cap on the tank with fuel in it (fuller is better) and pull the fuel and vacuum lines off the carb/manifold. Place a jar, bowl whatever under the fuel line and apply vacuum to the vacuum line (a pump is best because you have to leave the vacuum on the ...

Re: Please help me 1 more time!!.........

If you think this is a * match, then you are still in kindergarten in * match school.

I still think you have a fuel issue because of your high speed bog (I truly hate that term). Mainly because the engine going lean is about all that can cause that at WOT. Have you checked to make sure the ...

Re: Please help me 1 more time!!.........

I started working with engine back when we had real gas and regular would work in engines with 10 to 1 compression. You on the other hand obviously know less than nothing about engines and performance and the fuel they need and what it will do for said engine. Without timing measuring equipment or ...

Re: Please help me 1 more time!!.........

pretty much still the same today. I ran a tank of premium through it in hopes of maybe cleaning it a little, no help there though.

premium fuel cleans nothing more than regular does. premium in a 7.2 to 1 compression engine can foul the plug and does nothing for performance. You want clean, put ...

Re: Please help me 1 more time!!.........

I did play with all the air and idle screw settings and that didnt do the trick. I did not soak the filter in oil, as the bag said pre soaked......so I will have to give that a shot.
