well, what i realized the main problem was was that the air fuel mixture is much more precise and signifigant than i had assumed. The problem ended up being that the air filter cover wasnt sealed well enough that was causing the bog downs and stall, after sealing that up (with duct tape) it ran on ...

I have a 1982 honda express tht will start up and run poorly for about 25 to 30 seconds and then it dies out but will start right up again. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

I was reading on all hte different muffler modifications that help by causing less restricion on the exhaust. I figured to test if this helped i would take off the muffler compleatly and run it.
