Re: 72cc Malossi BBK Installed [Questions Tho!!!]
Glad its running. What BBK? MHR? Are you running stock pipe and carb? 324 temp is fine. If it climbs above 400 keep you eye on it. Mine will get to about 425 if I am WOT a lot and on lots of hills.
i just got the normal cast iron, no mhr... stock pipe and carb (jet is 90 tho).... my max temp so ...

I've been keeping a log with photos of my trail tech gauge with max rpm and max temp and duration of my runs... May post if it's interesting to someone ...

Yup, stock carb and exhaust...
Random side question about jets... Does anyone know of any local stores that may carry small enough drill bits for me to drill the one I have out a bit bigger??
As for the plug cap... Turns out the head gasket from the stock bore was a similar size, so I dremeled ...

Re: 72cc Malossi BBK Installed [Questions Tho!!!]
Greetings:
The shroud is Critical. Reposition the hole, and seal the gap with tape or sheet metal so the plug wire donut seals well. Moving air is the only cooling, and leaks anywhere decrease it.
Ok, thats kind of what I figured, but it never hurts to triple check! :)

Re: What not to do when installing a BBK
is this ok to do, or should I get a new one!?
Always use new clips, they can get be bent and loose tension when removed. A clip gone loose is an expensive failure.
hmm, ok not what i wanted to hear, but either way, i'm glad i heard (well, read) it!
i've messaged Red Eft Performance to see if he ...

What not to do when installing a BBK
First thing is first, I managed to get the c-clip semi-in the piston, then it sprung out...about an hr after crawling around in my garage w/ a magnet unable to find it, I said screw it, and just used a c-clip from my old piston; is this ok to do, or should I get a new one!?

Re: 66cc BBK Upgrade? Thoughts?
Yes it can be used with stock parts.
For carb. Airbox intact air screw about 3/4 of a turn out. Needle clip at the top. 100 main. Tune from there.
i think its fairly safe to assume that you mean the second kit on your page here (http://www.hondaspree.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19538 ...

Re: 66cc BBK Upgrade? Thoughts?
Oh seriously? That's nice then haha... After reading a few posts I was under the impression that the main jet would be closer to 100...but that would be perfect since I think I've currently got a 82 or 85 key in there... :p
