Crashed the scoot...

I hit a puddle going around a turn in a parking lot and layed down the scoot the other day. Folded in and broke the lens on the right turn signal and cracked the plastic piece that its attached to. Also scuffed up the right mirror and the stickers on the side of the rear storage compartment. Anyone ...

Re: snowmobile oil?

I don't remember ever seeing a viscosity rating on a 2 stroke oil, even when I attended numerous 2 stroke schools it was never mentioned. All 2 stroke oils mixes with the fuel in all cases, so viscosity doesn't mean much like it does in a 4 stroke.

OK. I was under the impression that the TC- W3 ...

What's to input? You refused the good advise on the grounds that Honda-san is 25 miles out. So what more is there to say? Oh and I wish the nearest Honds dealer was only 25 miles out.
:eyeroll:

Surely someone knows the viscosity rating of the OEM oil.

Re: Aero performance question..

Wow, yet another sweet looking '85 Aero in Oregon! I'm afraid my poor Millenium Aero will be living up to its name as the junkiest looking BUT fastest (while still being 50cc) in the state :woot:...if I ever get it finished

Good buy though, doesn't sound like you need to hear that from anyone now ...

2) 16,150 MPH in orbit over the Earth...........

In the intended spirit of this thread, I suppose one might in fact be able to include this depending on your point of view. The rocket engines do not have a internal combustion chamber, therefore could be counted as having a combustion chamber ...

Re: Replacing throttle cable on '87 spree?

Can you describe what was wrong w/the throttle cable? You may have just misaligned it when screwing it on again.

the throttle is all play, no resistance at all. I tried adjusting the cable to get rid of all the extra play and i couldnt get it to twist. New throttle cable in order?

To me it ...

Re: snowmobile oil?

Greetings:

It will probably be just fine. But for under $10 a quart at a Honda dealer, why take a chance with "probably"?

The nearest honda dealer that sells the stuff is 25 miles from here. I'm not exactly flush with time during the week, so I tried to find something that would work here in ...

snowmobile oil?

Well, I went to buy some 2 stroke oil, and all I could find that said it was for air-cooled and oil injected 2 cycles was Chevron snow mobile oil. I'm assuming it doesn't really matter?

Yes, I'm aware. But just how much pressure does the expansion chamber develop?

supercharger?

I know its nuts, and I've done a few internet searches to confirm as such. But could it be possible to supercharge a 50cc 2 stroke?

What are the differences between the elite/spree/aero?

I'm new around here, what exactly are the differences? Are there any?
