3 spark choices

I noticed in the service manual that I have 3 choices for a spark plug. which should I use for "lard *" application for a 265 lb rider? It's only going 23 mph top speed right now. on Flat road...

On a side note I am close to completing registering my 1986 spree which has been off the books for ...

so this new part will work on my 1986? "GATES #7240" that goes to an 87? I'll try it. I remember my 87 aero 50 would bust belts quite often.

next: good tips on how to change it? :ndance:

I gots me an 86 spree. where can I find a new belt and are all spree belts the same size for all years? My belt ain't broke yet, but I'd sure like a spare!

spree off books

ok, who's dealt with a spree with vin off the books and actually got it registered and got a title? I have AAA and I have some forms to fill out. anyone know what I can expect? is it worth the hassle? Dang thing runs great, I'd be sad to see it go for parts.

I'm actually copying stuff and putting it into notepad as a step by step....printing it out... :worship:

I noticed people selling air filters pre-oiled. wouldn't these turn to muck over time even if they're new- old stock?

I inspected it closer and saw a loose gromett thing, boot? going to the carb, hooked it back up, pullled out the air filter and it came apart in my hands. so I put in a makeshift to run around and cleaned the carb from the outside with carb cleaner and put it back together and it hauls! I ...
