hello to all, i bought a 86 spree the other day. the elect.starter does not seem to work, so i tried kicking it a few times, now it wont kick. it feels like it is siezed. my question is.... is it common for the kick start to seize or do you think it is the motot, and how can i check to see what it ...

thank you for all that great information. it turns out the battery was really low when i did the signal, brake test. i tried another battery and away she went.
your help was really appreciated...

hello to all, i have just bought a 86 spree. the guy told me the battery needed to be replaced, that is why the elect. starter does not work....i charged the battery, the horn works, but not the starter.

is there a way to check the electric starter.??
