So does anyone know what the Big bore (44mm) kit adds to the Spree, as far as speed? Can I toss on any aftermarket air intake that fits?

Looking for CHEAP simple mods for 86 Spree?
I just picked up a Spree off CL $400. The old man just dropped $300 into new tires, wiring, brakes and carb cleaning. Now my only issue is it tops out at 32MPH, and I want it go get closer to 40MPH. Compression ratio
Ok so I bought this Spree and have not had time to work on it so I took it to a shop. The guy said he couldnt get it started so he check the compression ratio and said it was 60. Does anyone know the compression on these engines are? Thank you
