48 i think stock pilot. Its one came with carb. It just came with main jets 108 - 130 to play with.

Without the stock pipe holding 'er back, the engine will want to SING a much higher note. Higher RPM means the jetting has to deliver more fuel, and the variator load needs to go down a few Total grams to keep the engine on-key. Changing from 7s to 6.5s can be too much of a jump ...

The stock Honda crank is as durable as any, better than most. Leave it unless you have reason to believe it's worn or damaged.

8.44 gears for the setup you describe will give you the best compromise in acceleration, still able to reach 55+ if tuning is well done.

Does stock pipe suck. ? Is it making me lose performance?

My v8 pipe is in the mail. but i cant help but wanna ride today its sunny and 47 in Michigan. in Dec that's crazy!

So what gears do i buy? and do i need to change crank.?
