Im having the same problem but Ive got both brake switches shorted with jumpers and still missing 12v at relay...also, ive got a small harness with 3 female leads hanging by the oil tank with 1 green, 1 black, and 1 green/yellow stripe. Where does this go and could it be related to starting prob??

So I picked up a basket case Aero for $100... Right out of the gate I have no spark. I changed the plug cause it was easy and cheap, but no luck. I'm not great with electrics, so would it be the coil itself or the rectifier, or niether, and how can I tell? Any basic ideas? Thanks!
