Re: best oil made
I understand what spreetard is trying to get across, and I Also understand where bear is comming from (I'm not picking sides here), I will try to restate what spreetard is saying without sounding like a know-it-all, for I know almost nothing about two stroke oils and their certifacations, but I do ...

Re: Honda Elite 1989 SA50 (canadian version)
The larger the gap the better, as long as there is still a strong arc. Always use the Honda gap specs. A smaller gap means a shorter distance for the spark, making a smaller arc that does not burn as well as a larger spark (less power output from your engine). If you make the gap too big, the ...

Re: Bigger Intake made for the spree(taz)

Re: What is the coldest temperature you have driven your spr
I took mine for a ride just before x-mas for delivering secret santa gifts, I know it was in the negitives, but nothing more than -5 or so, and it was short trips, it took longer to warm up the scooter than the trip one way(mile and a half). That new street tire I put on made it fun to control in ...

Re: Help with problem
dude you need an inline filter if this keeps happening and new fuel lines like bear said or do a better clean out on your carb :thumbwink: and maybe check your tank for rust to
I have an in-line filter, and I know my tank has rust, that's a later project. For now I carry a can of carb clean with ...

Re: Honda Express II SRX
T-jamz, this build looks sick, might I sugest a tank a little bigger tank than that silver one(even though it looked sweet), I have seen one like it on a moped conversion, and my spree has a bigger capacity tank! And with that dio, you would have to carry a spare gas can so you wouldn't get stranded ...

Re: Help with problem
My spree does this every now and then too, and I'm surprized that someone hasn't said this yet, clean the carb out. Sometimes just draining the bowl out and spraying some carb cleaner through it works for me, and sometimes I have to take it apart and deep clean it, but either way the carbs on these ...

Re: spree carb jetting???
thanks bear. Quick question though, on the spree carb, when you screw the a/f mix screw in, does that increase the amount of fuel in the mix, or decrease it? I've been told both ways and want to know for sure what one it is on the spree.

Re: spree carb jetting???
No I haven't checked the plug yet, but as I was rideing into work this morning, after the first long strech of road it started bogging out till it died, and not like the carb was plugged up either( I've had a lot of expereance with that). And it would take a min. or two to start back up again, and ...

spree carb jetting???
I've been reading this forum site for a while now, and was inspiered to do some work on my 85 spree to make it run better. Now I'm faced with a delema, I've drilled the exaust and when I had it apart to clean the exaust port out, I desided to grind off the rough edges left by the machines on the ...
