Re: 88 SB50 Elite Start Brushes
As the Southeast US is still part of the States, I'd love to have the website address of a preferred supplier of parts in the US. If there are any vendors on these forums, feel free to PM me.

88 SB50 Elite Start Brushes
I have an 88 Elite SB50. My local Honda dealership is convinced it doesn't exist, and must be an 80cc unit.
Would someone do me the favor of referring me to a proper parts supply place?
To be more specific, I currently need a set of starter brushes and brush holders. After that, I'll need a lot ...

Re: powder coating
If they are doing the sandblasting, cleanup, and providing the powder, $40 isn't a bad price for each wheel. It probably costs that to turn on the ovens....daryl2cb wrote:what are you guys paying to have two wheels powder coated for a spree, getting quotes of 40 bucks each thought that was high.

Re: 2-cycle oil
Thanks, I've got the starter motor out trying to free up the brushes, now is as good a time as any to remove the injector pump. Probably should have done that before the oil feed line popped apart and dumped about 1/2 a quart over the engine and onto the shop floor....

Re: oil
if you do you have to disable to pump (get the gears off the pump, so it will not spin. )
cap the oil hole on the carb (or the extra air you will run lean.)
The ratio is like 50:1 for the spree.
