I also considered a piece of brake line in between the throttle slide and the top that screws on top the carb to limit the slide pull.

Amen on the throttle stop, I would like the machine to go thru some dirt without bogging out. The spree wont hack in it in any type of sand or dirt without a geardown. I have an extra block so I am thinking about cutting it to fit a gy6 clutch sheve which will hopefully help.

Tore the motor apart yesterday to swap cases and found drive side crank bearing has slop and all three bearings/seals the in the final drive also need to be replaced. Looking at a total cost of $250+ to fix so I am buying another 2001 sa50p with 450 original miles on it :smile: for $500, no title ...

Did not support the block correctly and broke the engine bushing tab off

Has just started doing this vibration within the last 50 miles, I used to top out at 60mph, smooth as butter and feel safe doing it, not so much now :confused:
The only thing I could find was slop in the motor bushings, they are really bad...

So I got a wom wom woom woom wooom wooom woooom woooom vibration going on anywhere above 40mph. Replaced belt and rollers as advised, no change. Zx50 seems to be the most common and easy to get but I doubt it matches honda in quality of parts. How long would stock zx50 crank bearings hold up to a bbk.....
