air filters are expensive when purchased from a dealer. i would prefer to make my own. does anybody have any links, threads, or sites to offer, where i can acquire some moped-quality air filter material in a big sheet? thanks

you may have oil in the block. this happens with suzuki mopeds. if you want to check it, remove the intake manifold from the block and look inside.

you should be able to pull the throttle piston out of the carb. once that is done, you have to push the cable into the piston to onhook it. if you haven't got the throttle piston out of the carb, that's what you need to do. if it's rusted in there, you may have a big problem. sometimes you can stick ...

decarbonizing a spree is quite a bit more work than qt50, fa50, or express. there's plenty of plastic in the way.

don't try to cut corners with this repair. take the time to remove everything in the way and take note of the order you do it, and torques. then make sure that the cable isn't kinked anywhere. that is what you mean, isn't it, the cable?
