Re: Gear Box oil?

My aero takes only 3 oz.... you should've seen how nasty the stuff that had been sitting in it was...

What I did was just drain it by tipping the bike over, filling it with the 3 oz, threading the plug back in, ran it for a minute, and did it again twice as to really get the old stuff out.. I used ...

Re: new aero owner, two weeks later....

I've tried. I suppose I could google up a free pdf viewer, but I tire easily of virtual hoops. I'd rather do it all bassackwards or get someone in my family to print it off for me.

Re: HELP PLEASE ( I am a newbie in need of help) Bogging out

Yeah, my new 86 aero was mighty bogged down until I changed the 2 stroke oil that had been sitting in the tank for god knows how long; I put in the 8 dollar a quart Honda stuff and there's no more bogging.

Re: new aero owner, two weeks later....

I plan on getting that manual, some way or other... but I can't view it here on this barebones laptop. Perhaps I'll buy one...

Well, I took out the dead battery and she started right up so I guess I didn't sizzle anything. I got the new battery on the charger now and we'll see about taking it out ...

new aero owner, two weeks later....

Hey Everyone...

..this would be my very first post (*newbie*) after perusing for a coupla weeks now. I'm looking for all the advice I can get on my "current" issue...

I bought a 86 nb50 that seemed decent enough; fired right up first kick, and it seemed complete minus a dead battery. I swabbed the ...
