Good idea about the oil pump - that is what got me in trouble to begin with !!

What does it cost to rebuild an AF16E motor?

My oil pump failed and the motor seized up in my Elite 50SR
I fear a full engine rebuild is in order

Can you guys give me an idea what it will cost to rebuild it - including rod bearing replacement?

Took my SA50 to get inspected yesterday (40 min ride)....was very light rain (but not enough to get the pavement wet) & 46F...burrr
Wore the Aerostitch, gauntlet gloves, full face helmet, & boots - bet I was a real site to see riding the scooter in all that gear ...
