Got a stator coming... thanks anyway

I got it... guess my stator went bad...there's one of the coil wires that is broken. Not sure how that happened, but it's definitely broken.

So, I'm looking for a stator... cheep

Ok, so I got a new piston, rings, cylinder, wrist pin, circlips, gaskets... got them all on and everything there is good...

Starts just fine and idles well... but for some strange reason, when I got it all back together, my headlight and ...

Went to see it... I dont know what the PO was thinking... it was a mess!
Wrong carb on it... bypassed the petcock, the Intake(home made) was about 10 inches long. Seriously! He got it to start by pouring gas into the carb/air intake... no airbox at all. Plastics were trashed... and so much more ...

From what I can tell, it is from Tiawan... but it has a very high rating - high 70's to low 80's-depending on who's rating it. The online reviews I've read are very good. Says it's the top selling scooter in the UK and NZ...

Is it worth $350 in good,not great,condition? 2250 miles on it... kick start is "broken". Gonna look at it this weekend... what should I look for? problems with this particular scooter?

No, the scooter wheel was just for convienence while I cleaned up the spokes.

Just about ready to tear into the motor... been busy fixing other people's scooters. Once the word got out that I could work on scoots I've been hit up by 4 different guys to get thiers running again... so much fun

Is it possible to swap an Aero 125 motor onto an 86' Spree? Has it been done?

Just put on a new belt 3 weeks ago, good strong spark from 4 month old plug,
New clear fuel line/vac line, tire pressure is dead on,
No compression tester, but that has never been a problem... I'll see if I can borrow my neighbor's tester...
