there is no hole there, its a retarded slot that you slide a nut into and then thread the bolt in from the top, would zip ties work?? :?

the o-ring SEEMS tho be in good shape, i can barley get the bolt to tighten down, never thought about grinding the teeth off the shaft. There are threads at the end of the shaft that goes into the pump itself, but does not thread into anything, the pump literaly blows itself off the block on startup ...

oil injection pump

im probably bringing up somthing old, but my 84 spree's injection pump has failed, i bloked off both oil lines and am running pre mix, however the pump will not stay put. How do i get the pump to stay secure??? Note: i removed the shaft from the pump to avoild it trying to pump oil

Your take off is snail like because your jugs exhaust port has too much carbon build up. :urban:
