Re: Aero Stretching and more.

It's below the front bushings on the 85. In 86/87 they changed it to a slip in to the frame design. If the way it's set up (stock 85 mount) I will change to the 87 mount I have. Every thing I have done was to preserve the stock setup even the angle of the shock is the same as stock. Just pushed to ...

Re: Aero Stretching and more.

Paul is correct the stock mount is in tacked. (intact) I just moved the hanger mount back. It may vibrate more because of the big bore.

Current plans include
Malossi Big bore
Leo v pipe
Custome side stand
Shorter stiffer front springs
Air ride rear. You can see the air piston in the pic from the ...

Re: Build Suggestions for a 86 Aero 50?

the speeds recorded are from GPS

I dont see why you would do a BB and not the pipe and intake/carb.
as you say it will not reach higher rpms without the added parts.
so a BB will just get you to 35mph faster. thats not his goal.

1) ruckus variator: best thing you can do to a stock Aero, got me to 45 with just this mod.
2) upjet the main to an #85: this will richen up the air to fuel ratio and help mantain 47.
i then did met wheels so i could add some width to ...
