Yes. I leave the throttle closed. I guess I need to check the bystarter again.
I think my bike is addicted to motor heroin(starting fluid).
Thanks for the info on the starting fluid. Thankfully no damage to this point. The dang thing will go 50 on the flat, and I weigh 220.

'99 elite 50sr won't start cold.
It seems like have to spray starting fluid into the intake of my honda 50 SR to start it when the outside temp is below 70 degree F. It starts in seconds after it is warmed up. I am pretty sure I have checked the bystarter in the past. It only has 580 miles on it. Anybody else having this problem ...
