I did a search, but couldn't find a testing flow chart for the charging system.
My AF27 doesn't charge. The voltage at the battery doesn't increase when the engine is running/the engine revs increase.
On a longer ride the battery slowly discharges until the lights and turn signals ...

So a while ago I got a Honda dio off Facebook marketplace. Bought it off a complete loser. I spent quite a while undoing all the f*cktardery that it had been subjected to. And got it running. It goes pretty well.

I'm not too concerned about detonation. More about the piston and the head trying to make love to each other.

A couple of hundred usd defiantly breaks the bank. Pulling the barrel and knocking half a mm off it is only going to cost me a cost of gaskets.
I guess I need to see what my piston to head clearance is now, and skim it accordingly.

A standard improvement for any engine has always been to bump up the compression.
I was talking to the guy at a local scooter workshop about it. he swears and declares its a step backwards to shave the head, (Due to reducing the squish pad area) and better to remove material from the barrel instead ...

I swapped the ZX motor back into my Dio tonight. It kicks the s*** out of the motor out of the crashed Dio that I was running in it.

Just the engines. some of the plugs were different, but ALL the wires were the same colour. I did some pretty ugly splicing to make it run. I don't get why it would only idle down slowly when the throttle is released?
