Main jet
Does the correct jet opening size correspond to a particular numbered, or lettered, drill bit size? I pulled the main jet out twice and sort of 'rodded' it out-first time, it had some crud in it which I think I removed. Without knowing the exact size, kind of hard to tell.

Fuel valve
O.k., thanks for the advice. When I disconnect fuel and vacuum lines from the carb, no gas comes out. If I suck on the vacuum line, fuel runs out. Starts easily, but, as I mentioned, quits soon after starting. I'm not sure how much vacuum is necessary to keep fuel coming. Maybe I need to pull a ...

Auto bystart?
What is it and what does it do? Can't keep my Spree running. Cleaned carb(twice), took fuel valve off-blew air through it. Drained tank, added new gas. Pulled reed valve, seemed o.k.
