Have you tried a hair dryer or one of those heat guns that are used to remove paint from houses? Be careful with a heat gun--they get really hot & can melt the plastic. Don't know where to find o.e.m. decal, but a graphics shop should be able to reproduce one. Would help to take a close up picture ...

Inline filters seem safe as long as they are mounted away from hot engine components. Seems to flow plenty of fuel--used the same type that is on my 14hp riding mower. Thanks for the safety tip. I will keep an eye on the filter to make sure it is staying cool.

Thank you to "Jerry" for his carb cleaning tips--great job. I have an 86 Spree with 600 miles that I recently bought for my Grandson.
