I can get it to "run" by smothering the carb. I checked the reeds and they appeared fine. I did not try to open them by pushing with my finger. Is there any chance that the reeds are stuck closed? It gets a spark. Newly bored cylinder, new rings and pistons. The thing ran fine except no power b/c ...

Piston rings
I bought replacement rings and the two look a little different. One appears to have a more silver contact area with the bore. Does one go on top or does it not matter?
