Yea i like those tracks, my pro street aero would eat up the competion :lol: mid 11's without wheelie bars and never lite up your tires cuz the crank bearings can't handle it :cry:

I did my friends one, stock bore carb etc, no gears, only pulley and clutch.

your running to lean or too little oil,run at least 50 to 1 premix,get rid of that oil pump if your still running it or grind the teeth of the pump shaft

Hard to get parts for the se,aero engine,esp gearing, and even bore kits are what ever is left,kinda like the dio's they are not really making any parts for them anymore

ok i have to ask now. im getting a 63cc bore kit along with a high speed pulley kit and some other small things

what is the best way to break in? how many miles till its broke it? what is the best way to put these miles on? ( like variable speed or constant? )( long distance or let it cool often ...

If you need more stall, then stroger clutch springs or a lighter clutch,center spring is just used to keep the belt from slipping.
Dont run a heavy spring unless you need that style for drag racing.
RUn the stock belt and switch the boss back to stock, you can still run the zx pulley-even though it ...

Since the belt is not dropping all the way down or prob not more then half way means the transition is not a broad as it is supposed to be
low range - belt low in front , high in back

W/C, can you explain this one a bit more? I still don't fully get it. If my belt wasn't dropping all the way down ...

I set up an S with 8 grams weights, stock drive/belt,stock bore,carb air box , stock pipe,med clutch and some kind of aftermarket pulley ,10% center spring and I think the center is a little to stiff for the stock engine.
If you mid range is lacking, it is more then likely that the belt is riding up ...

The center spring does two things keep the belt from slipping and keep the rear drive closed longer, but that's why you want to run the weakest you can get away with.
You should not go lower on the weights to gain better accel, what you need to do increase your stall, heavier clutch springs will ...

If your running a zx belt,you need to have the front pulley boss-zx or figure out away to space the stock boss out more-shimms.
Also playing with the weights is what you need to be looking at.
Clutch springs are stall
Center spring is to keep the belt from slipping
Run the heaviest weights you can ...

I bet your weight are prob flatspotted, if yuo used the cheap weights they flat spot very fast,try check your weights.
