Re: AF16 to Ruckus Clutch Swap
I used the stock Elite belt for both mock ups and it seemed to fit the same. The ruckus belt would be way to long

Re: AF16 to Ruckus Clutch Swap
Greetings:
I think we're being thrown off by your use of the term "Clutch" where I think you mean Driven Face. The clutch is the thingy under the bell that has pads like a drum brake. The Driven Face consists of the two pulley sheaves that sandwich the drive belt. Although they live on the same ...

Re: AF16 to Ruckus Clutch Swap
it sounds like a ZX trans setup
do you have a bigger/wider belt to try? a 669 18 30 belt is best for a zx setup.
No I don't. I am still in the middle of my build so it might be a few weeks before I get to do some testing. I haven't bought all the small things yet and a belt is one of them. I was ...

Re: AF16 to Ruckus Clutch Swap
I already run the ruckus variator, I was shaving the inside of the case when I had a "hummmmm" moment. I looked at the two clutches and the only real difference I saw was that the area that the belt rides on is larger. Everything else is the same as far as the size. I even put it on with a belt and ...

AF16 to Ruckus Clutch Swap
Has anybody done this? I have a few Ruckus clutches and when building my AF16 i wondered if they could be swapped. The area where the belt rides on is much larger on the ruckus clutch and it all seems to fit. Any ideas on what kind of performance I can get with this?

Re: Upgrade Opinons in a nutshell
You gotta give it some time for replies too, I'm sure others are out blowing things up.
Yea, that is what I am trying not to do.
OK let me try to start a guideline of what I am asking. I have based this on the AF16 motor and a BBK.
Variator: Top end speed vs. Take off
Stock AF16 = ?

Upgrade Opinons in a nutshell
So as I lurk around the forums I see a few different threads about jetting, BB size, exhaust, Gears, Contra spring size, clutch spring size, Variators, variator weights, etc. etc. I was thinking that we can sum everything up in one post to help point the newbs in the right direction with a good ...

Back from the dead because the search worked
So did the 50cc GY6 motor mount to the stock bottom engine mount? I have a 94 elite and I noticed the 50cc GY6 has the bottom mounting holes and was just wondering if they lined up the same.
Thanks in advance
