a 9,000RPM BBK mod, driven in daily traffic, should keep the stock oil pump for reliability.

Would anyone care to second this? I'm curious as to whether it is necessary for all this additional work for the break in with the Malossi BBK. Would using the stock fuel/oil setup be a no no? (with the ...

Great thread to watch for those of us looking at purchasing the Malossi BBK for our AF05's.

Was this the same kit purchased from Red Eft Performance? Trying to anticipate if I need to buy the 88/90 jets in addition to the kit; or anything else for that matter.

Compression for my '85 Aero NB50M AF05E is in the 90psi neighborhood and after taking it to a local Honda motorsports repair shop they identified some scoring on the cylinder walls telling me that they need to bore and upgrade the piston to 41.25 or 41.55mm. 1985 Honda NB50M Gasket Sets

Hello!

New to the forums. My buddy has a 1985 Honda Aero NB50M(AF05E) and I'm trying to get this thing running for him. I just ordered a new piston and ring kit since the compression was around 90 psi. Cylinder looks good still.

All I need are the gaskets! This guy on eBay has two complete sets ...
