Does the stock exhaust still have the restricter in the exhaust where it bolts to the jug? It looks like a washer that is welded in the exhaust inlet, shrinks the inlet size from around 1" down to about 3/8". If thats still in there you wont get much out of your new BBK

What is the rpm I should be shooting for with my 50mm BBK and the v8 pipe?

I seldom ride wot. have seen the tach hit 8750 but really havent finished tuning the trans yet. same bbk as yours with v8 pipe but only a 21mm carb and intake so that probably limits it somewhat
