I just found out that my primary gears are 13x34. 87 gearing in my 94 motor. Is that good or bad? Which secondary gears do I get?

Re: Tuning Gear Help
Not sure. I'm burying the needle. So at least 45 - 50. It just winds the gear up a lot. And the low end is too much.

Tuning Gear Help
I'm trying to resurrect my SA50 engine for daily use. Currently, I have on it:
70 (something?) cc bore kit
Arrow Pipe
28 Kehin Carb
stock gears
mod pulley
mod clutch spring
All on dio zx wheels (30/30?)
I can feel the gears holding it back big time and never got to changing them until now. I'm ...

Re: 87 disc brake conversion
Bakaracer - I have your post in save from 5 years back about your conversion. Your 87s inspire my builds. I remember in your post you said what you said above. I just needed to make sure before I started. I really want to keep the original panels. Care to share some of your pics in your 87s? Pm me ...

Re: Honda metropolitan rear wheel
sorry let me clarify but i think you already answered my questions: Currently I have the stock elite 1987 rim with a 3.00 size tire on it. I bought a metropolitan rim with a 90/90-10 size tire on it. I just was wondering what are the benefits in converting to this metropolitan rim and tire setup ...

dio zx rear wheel
Can a dio zx (af35) rear wheel fit on a 1994 dio motor? If so, is it a straight bolt on? Thanks.

Honda metropolitan rear wheel
i have a 94 dio motor in my 87 elite. Right now there is a 3.00-10 size wheel in it. Would there be any benefit in mounting a metropolitan 90-90 50j tire in it? If so is it a straight bolt on? Do I have to stretch or do anything to make it fit? Thank you

87 disc brake conversion
Did some research awhile ago and saw a disc brake conversion on an 1987 elite using a dio zx front end. I bought a dio zx front end (fork, handlebar, levers, disc brake, and tire) from Japan. Before diving in and breaking my 87 down, I wanted to ask if is it as simple as removing the 87s front end ...
