I've got a brand new 2007 Elite 80 with 115 miles on it. I can't get it started. I drained the gas and added fresh, changed the plug and put in a new battery. I ran all the bad gas out of the carb. I was having the same problem. After reading this post I swapped out the regulator and the headlight came right on. Thanks again guys.

Just wanted to know if there is any other option of getting debris cleaned out of the crank case besides splitting them. Thanks

Turns out it was the clutch and/or the drive belt. I had an extra one of each so I swapped them out and that fixed it. Thanks Pat.

The front end is shaking and knocking really bad on take off but it smooths out really quick after I get going over 5-8 miles an hour then it runs and steers great. It only does it on take off. I looked at the front end and everything seems to be tight. What do you think would cause this? Thanks

Thanks Pat. I think there was and air leak. It also could have been the main jet. I eliminated both issues. It runs great now.

My 84 Spree starts and idles fine. When I give it gas it boggs out and stalls. I just put on new gas lines and petcock. Fuel flow seems fine. I don't see any cracks in the air box. Any ideas. Thanks

Ok, thanks guys. I feel better now.

I just put my motor back together with new bearings ,piston and rings and its running great. I rode it about a mile and I dont see any smoke. I did bleed the oil lines. When I first started it there was some smoke. After the test run there is none. Whats the easy way to see if oil is coming out of ...

Well it was the bearing. I replaced them and now its super quiet. Not an easy task.
