well, I looked at it last night
What a beautiful Scooter !
Looks like a sport bike, nothing like my aero
Rode great, was an AC without the Tach which seemed odd to me
excellent shape, a few body scratches nothing major
16,000Kms on it, a fair bit for a 2008
I made an offer, but i don't think it will ...

2008 Super 9 Opinions ?
Hello
I looked at the Lifan, didn't like it
Going to look at a super 9 tomorrow
What is everyone's opinions of those scoots ?
anything to watch for ?
I am hoping to keep my Aero and rebuild the motor
but want a good daily driver in the meantime
not sure if the super 9 is the AC or LC model, being ...

Re: Jetting Recomendations ? -- NOW MORE ISSUES ! :(
i have the OEM belt in there right now
as was the old one, but it was far beyond good anymore
now it's tight with the new belt
i have 12 Gram rollers in there currently, seemed to make it a bit better
i have a feeling the 2K centre spring is causing most of my problems
sadly i have to fight with it ...

Re: Jetting Recomendations ? -- NOW MORE ISSUES ! :(
I pulled the pilot last night, it's a 45
and right now i have a 96 in for my main jet
i moved the clip on the needle to the centre of 5 spaces (it was on the second from the top)
It did seem to make it a bit better
but still really bad off the line, throttle doesn't seem to affect it as much as ...

Re: Jetting Recomendations ? -- NOW MORE ISSUES ! :(
I don't have a stock one to switch to
when i bought the scoot it had a 28mm on it
a really beat up leaking 28mm
so i bought a 24mm to replace it
looking around, it sounds like the OKO has a 42 Pilot
i'll have to find some other sizes
i'll keep poking !!
thanks for the input so far !

yeah, it's 16
I have 14's in there now
I have a 98 Jet in there at the moment, on a 24mm Carb
I don't know what Pilot is in it, how can i tell ?
it was running fairly well, BEFORE i put the new belt in
now it falls flat and start, once i get it going, it's fine again
I'll open up the carb and play ...

Re: Jetting Recomendations ? -- NOW MORE ISSUES ! :(
So I finally got a new OEM belt to replace my old worn out one
a snug fit, but it's on there
now i'm am finding, the low end is totally gutless, so much so it will stall on start from a light
once it get's moving it's ok, but the first 15-20 seconds are garbage
I realize i have lighter weights than ...

Re: Jetting Recomendations ?
i replaced them about 6 months ago, with a lighter set
they are currently 14.5 Grams
instead of the usual 16 Grams
before i had started trying to do any tuning to it, that was my first attempt
since then i have gone to a 2000 rear spring, so should probably go back to 16 Grams weights

Re: aero 80 belt replacement
A trick ?
in what way ?
You have to pull apart the whole side of the bike to get the cover off
whole engine side of the bike, plastic covers, AND metal frame that holds the foot rest
black belt cover comes off easily (8mm bolts)
take off one pully, remove belt, reassemble
I have done it a few times ...
