Re: Spree - Carb -o- Death
Busy day today, busier than I thought.
repaired my friends power window, no parts available, so I had to make
A part. Anyway, we all know I got 6 spark plugs, so I can do good
Chops tomorrow.
Gonna do that spray trick to see if it affects rpms to help find the vaccuum
leak. Yeah, I agree with you ...

be able to carry the spark plug socket in my pocket today and pull

Re: Spree - Carb -o- Death
Okay,
So here's the skinny.
I took throttle slider/needle thing out and diconnected the cable.
I took it inside and got the reading glasses and bright led flashlight.
I was previously wrong, the needle circlip was actually on the next to
richest setting. I went to the richest setting possible and ...

Re: Spree - Carb -o- Death
I had the jet and emulsion tube out like 6 times.
But I didn't see a number.
I never put jets in anything/changed sizes.
so I was not looking for a number.
Now I wish I had.

Re: Spree - Carb -o- Death
Thank you, I have 6 new plugs.
The airbox warpage was an inner flange, not the gasket area, my bad. Gasket was in there, now lid fastened down with new screw actually helped, climbs hills now. Will test bystarter on battery for 5 mins. You know what, its like it has amost no vaccuum until 15mph ...

Re: Spree - Carb -o- Death
Pulled bystarter and held wires on battery for 15 seconds, no movement.
attached bystarter wires to their original locations and turned ignition
on. Waited 30 seconds, again, no visual movement.
Pulled throttle slider out and removed metering rod.
Clip is on the next to leanest position.

Thank you both,
I will all of the tests.
