ok i realy need help now. i have the ignition wired up to the bare esentials for it to fire but it does absolutly nothing. any ideas?

it sounds like you have little compresion or you still have dirt that you arn't getting out. if the tank ain't cleen it will keep putting dirt in even a small bit will stop it.(because you said it will run for about 2mins which is plenty of time for dirt to interfear.)

from all that i have read and understand is that it sounds like the carb or there could be geting to much oil in the gas which is harder to burn but when the plug is pulled it will still look ok. I say this because my yamaha does the same thing after about 3hours of running. you have to be sure the ...

ok i found my cdi box and am now just trying to figure out the wirring. in the diagram i am reading i can't tell which wires go to each termanil on the cdi box.[/list][/code][/url]

isn't there a way to hock up a different type of ignition. like say a coil from a car.

but i thought there could be a way around using the cdi.

that is what i thought but which coil the puls coil or the spark plug coil.

hello all i need to know what to hock up to make my 84 spree fire. i should mention that it only has the puls coil wiers and the stator wirers left any help would be good.
