I hate to say this but I think you will regret it if plan on driving this moped around reliable and safely at 35-45 mph. The spree is smaller than the elite, the suspension isnt that good, the brakes would be worse at higher speeds, they just feel "squirrely" at higher speeds.

To late to do the heat cycles right. I had my idle up and the temps got to around 170-180. Just got my first 50 miles on it. I ran a couple wot runs after the first 30 miles. ^^^ I cleaned up the Ct manifold on the inside with a dermal before i installed it. The 45 was a little too much, just fired it up today and put a 42 in it I couldn't keep it running with a 45 unless I had the idle speed adjusted all the way in, seems to idle alot better about 1 turn out with a 42 ...

get some higher rpm clutch springs that will help alot with the 0-5mph problem.As for the carb im not sure you could just upgrade to a ct intake and 21mm oko

My plan is to increase the pick up tube by 10% and then the pilot (hole in the casting) by 10%. Basically coping what wheelman did here

I have seen the wikispreedia and wheelman post on drilling out the pilot jet on the stock elite/spree carbs, but nobody has ever posted their results, or I just cant find them.
