Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I just recently got insure for my 1997 Honda Elite. $75 for the whole year.

Ok so I just ordered a bunch of parts from www.battlescootershopping.com, their prices seem very reasonable. Once I get the parts I will document my install and post a new thread about it.

I recently purchased a Honda Elite CH80. I'm going thru it changing the oil and spark plug ect.. Both tires are really dry rotted. Can you guys recommend me some tires to purchase? best place for buying them? How hard is it to install yourself?

If its any consilation, I'm picking up a 1997 Honda elite 80 this weekend. It's only got 1,920 miles on the odometer. She looks real clean, but the test drive will be the tell tail. Drive it around a good bit. Shut it down and look for any oil or gas leaks. Make sure it starts back up after you shut ...

Yeah I have to assume thats its been sitting for a long time, and even when it did get used it was sporadic at best.

If you want a CH80, that one looks like it's worth $500 easily, squeaky rear binders and all. Of course you must add a bottle of Febreze to the cost, to rid it of the Old Lady smell.
