Turn Signal Relay Conversion Question- 85 CH150D
So I have a four prong female connector on the harness of my CH150D. The relay went out about a year after I purchased the bike so I do what I always do and found a decent looking used one on eBay. Get it, it doesn't work. Thought it may have been the control switch on the handle so I cleaned it 3 ...

That is a silly name choice, but a very slick bike nonetheless.

Re: '85 Honda Elite Won't turn over, won't idle, won't run
I own the 150 deluxe and had similar problems upon purchase. Put the airbox on, po had drilled holes in my airbox and it did not like the extra air. Insulator cracking will give you issues for sure, again extra air. Idk about the chinese carb since its newer but the oem Keihin needed a good three ...

Re: Help with Electrical Components
So the 87 has a 3 pin and the 84-86 have a 2 pin flasher relay. Is the 3 pin on the 87 only 3 pin because of the noise clicker? Looking to get an LED rear light set up but need to know what kind of flasher relay to get... 2 pin or 3 pin. And when i do, do i just completely replace my relay/noise ...

Re: Starter Woes
That's what I was afraid of...but hey part of the fun right? Took apart the starter and am missing resistance on a couple commutator spots so that explains my intermittent click and no spin. Also the armature is not retracting. It seems stuck open, so need to rebuild. While I'm waiting for parts I ...

Re: Starter Woes
Yeah I have the service manual but it's only so helpful with troubleshooting steps, but god bless Honda for their detail in other stuff. I guess I'm more lost in a general sense on what all comes into play with starting. My mind is starter spins=starting, but clearly there's much more involved. I ...

Re: Starter Woes
Also..it was doing something where the relay would just click and nothing happened, but if I manually turned the engine, it allowed the starter to spin again. *?

Starter Woes
OK I need some guidance. Recently had an issue where my 85 Ch150d went from starting each time to the starter spinning and nothing engaging. It's spinning the flywheel, but holding the start button makes it just sound like a drill running.

Speedo Not Working 85 CH150D
So I'm used to the pure analog speedo on my Aero, but this guy has a little more electrical involved in the speedometer, and I'm wondering if I'm overlooking something. The cable itself seems fine, I unattached it from behind the panel and spun the front wheel and the inner cable spins freely and ...

Re: Elite 150 ...worth it for a short term daily driver??
Brought this home yesterday and holy crap it is a blast! This thing is completely street ready; newer tires, all electrics work, guy put a new battery and seat on there as well. The plastics are all there but the handlebar cover and front lenses need replacement, and need to replace the sun thumped ...

Re: Elite 150 ...worth it for a short term daily driver??
Best way to increase storage space is to invest in a fancy new backpack or get a storage "trunk" box and bolt it to the rear rack. Get the right storage box and it'll have a soft back pad to lean back on for those long commutes.
