Re: Need help fixing NX50 Express SR oil tank leak

I posted a long reply. but it didn't show up. It's always tough to write up a reply the second time when the first was detailed, so I'll be briefer. I think the best fix is to 3D print a new dome out of plastic that is identical to the original, except the threaded part has a 1/16 " larger diameter ...

Need help fixing NX50 Express SR oil tank leak

I am about of ideas on this one. The oil sight glass (plastic) on my NX50 leaks, or rather oil seeps out past the oil sight glass rubber gasket. When I research fixing this, the answers are generally to replace it with a plug, use pre-mix and throw away the tank or some other lame idea. I want to ...

Re: Gyro - general thread

Back in the day when we were racing cars with SU carburetors, we used to narrow the ends of the needles with Emory cloth to make the mixture richer at wide open throttle. Leave the top part of the needle alone so you don't affect low and mid throttle mixture. We even sometimes cut the ends off the ...

Re: Gyro - general thread

When you get it cleaned up and running well, it will be interesting to see if it runs like your black one when wide open going downhill.

Re: Grrr!!

I have spark, compression and fuel. No you don't or it would fire up and run for a few seconds at the least.
Fuel in the bowl is a good sign, but doesn't prove that you have fuel in the intake manifold. You might be missing the main jet or have something in the carb plugged up. Forget this for now ...

Re: Official NS50F thread

Watchguy either bought the loaded NS50F or somebody else did, as i just had a message posted on one of my NS50F YouTube videos from a man who just bought a fully loaded NS50F. There can't be too many out there, so it is probably the same one.

Re: Official NS50F thread

Watchguy,
Please take a second to update your profile with your location. Country and state are enough. You might find someone close to you who has an NS50F. There might only be two or three in excellent or very good condition in the USA that still have those original shrouds you are looking to ...
