1984 Aero 50 - New Oil Tank Hose Connector?
The rubber elbow that connects the oil tank to the hose on my Aero has a hole. I'm having trouble finding a replacement, any suggestions where to find this part?

Re: 1984 Honda Aero - Headlights question
Should the headlight light up if the scooter is not running? I've read something about the headlight not running off battery power but of the alternator?

Re: Nb50 no start bad bistarter
I also had a bad bystarter on a 1984 aero, I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. You cay buy a whole new carb on ebay, but it isn't original. I ended up just taking out the bystarter pin component and disconnecting the electric to it. Essentially it is always "warm". Probably not ideal, but my ...

1984 Honda Aero - Headlights question
I need some help for a non electrically-minded. My Aero's headlight won't light up. All the other lights work - blinkers, tail, dashboard turn, oil, etc. I know the battery is pretty much dead as the horn barely blows and the starter doesn't get enough juice. Also, when I turn on the right turn ...

Throttle Cable Slide Seating
Could someone give me a quick answer on this. How far down should the slide (the black tube) for the throttle cable go down into the carb? Should I be able to see it when looking through the air intake? I understand the small, partial notch goes toward the idle screw and the long, skinny seam that ...

Any updates I am having similar issues. Bystarter is definitely broken for me but I wouldn't expect that to cause extreme rpms

Anybody know where to buy an 84 bystarter. Apparently they are different than the many for sale on Amazon which I now own one.

Re: 84 Aero 50 - Hard Start Out of Control Revving
One more thing. With the Airbox on it also revs like crazy full throttle. Looked at it again tonight looking for air leaks. But can the Airbox have an air leak? Because j would think it would have the same effect as me cupping my hand over the intake but it doesn't. Cupped hand = normal idle, Airbox ...

84 Aero 50 - Hard Start Out of Control Revving
Hi all,
First time poster. Recently got an 84 aero 50 and rode it for a couple of weeks. Was running okay - perhaps a little rich as the mpg seemed to be lower than expected but wasn't tracking - but it had a very hard cold start. After warm would start with no problem electric or kick.
I figured ...
