Loose airbox?

My '85 aero 50 is running great (starts instantly, idles good, etc) except for when you start driving at first it accelerates ok but in a few seconds starts bogging with throttle and losing power. When it bogs down you have to ease up on the throttle or the engine will die. If you just let it idle ...

I think it could be both. The spree isnt really made to run 40mph comfortably I dont think (correct me if im wrong) so if youre doing that plus in 100 degree weather its probably not a good idea one way or another.

Just cause its new doesnt mean its fully charged.
This is true. Hook it up to a small motorcycle battery charger if you have one and let it trickle for a few hours.

I think it´s losing compression

I posted this youtube video a while ago of me trying to start the aero with a jump - whenever I start it I have to crank it over A LOT like that (a few minutes) before it´ll finally catch and start. (and I jump it every time from a charger because the battery is ****). Today a guy leaves a ...

Well here's my famous rather ghetto aero... The rest of the body panels are black with a crap paint job someone tried to do. I cannot get the side panels to fit for my life...

I had the plug out a couple days ago and it's still that cocoa-brown color like in the other thread. I'm gonna try the seafoam though. Just a few capfuls to like 1/4 tank of gas is enough right?

I just wanted to know if something like that (meant to break down gunk) might be too hard on stuff like the fuel lines, which look to me like they're made of some kind of rubber. It's probably ok though.

Would running a few capfuls of seafoam in the gas help to do things like clear out the fuel lines and stuff on that end? I've heard it works wonders.

I was just thinking could it possible be an ignition timing issue? I've heard that backfiring is also caused by that... It does sometimes miss/erratic when idling by itself, so would it help if I took a vid of that as well?

I would but as I said before it's not possible for me to do a plug chop.

1) Nowhere where I can ride for a mile with the throttle plastered down. There would be, but my street is too small and the only place is a busy road and I know that the scooter will not maintain any speed for long, and will ...
