Haha yea, people usually get a kick outta that. Opposite end of the spectrum than what people are used to-- Andrew in full battle rattle, ruck sack, M4 in hand... ha.

i was just working on the lil lady's scooter and decided to drop in. Bumper paint is still holding up great... just be sure to prep prep prep and when you think it is prepped well... prep it again!

looks great. Recover the seat. I promise you its a piece of cake. Just got to find someone with a sewing machine if you don't have one already.

do you plain on getting one for your self? so you and her can go 'riding' ?
scooters are fun but riding in a group or even with one person is so much better.

umm... maybe. Honestly I don't think i can afford to own and operate another vehicle. She'll have to settle with me riding along side her ...

she wasn't really surprised at the work per say... its what I do. Her roommates were pretty surprised I knew how to do all the various steps needed to accomplish everything. But yea, she knows I'm pretty ...

autoparts store should have a variety of horns. if you are local to a junkyard just go out and check all the cars for em... find one thats small... place in pocket... free horn.

I have told my gf to wear her helmet whenever she rides the scoot. I realize that its dangerous not necessarily because of her being a poor driver or making some kind of mistake but because of other people being idiots on the road. I know all to well.... thinking back to all the times I've been cut ...

3m Scotch Bright pads (the green ones) are gods gift to the DIY painter. Perfect for prepping little things for paint. I'm going to start a new thread so I'll leave it at that.

i use http://www.Imageshack.us for quick uploads that ill only use once. but if its something im going to use over and over agian i use http://www.PhotoBucket.com . the log in and all that stuff takes to long for me compaired to imageshack click and its uploaded type page
