got a new spindle for my 85 spree, does the end of the return spring go thru the little hole in the spindle, or up against the notch? i can't tell from the picture in the manual i downloaded. also, having a * of a time getting the belt back in place after removing the drive pulley to install a new ...

1. kickstart sticks about halfway down, have to kick it opposite way to get it back up. ???

2. elec start will only work after spree has been running for a while-works great then actually. but absolutely won't start cold off the elec start.

can anyone help me out?
