Oh, I was thinking along the lines that pressures inside of an engine are very high, and that unless you're forcing pressurized gas through, then you're only likely to find relatively large leaks.

The latest oil I'm trying is from the same company I use for my pre-mix, Manhattan Oil.

It's an oil that replaces 20-50w, but up to 90w.

It's an uncannily light oil, but I'm going to be testing it extensively and looking at the gears after a reasonable amount of riding.

Dave and his shop aren't active right now, but smart folks still seek him out for advice or if they really need help w/something. Part of it is accident-related health impacts and then there's probably some burn-out after so many years of ped and motorcycle racing, and dealing with stupid people ...

Check your front and rear pulleys for rust.

Also, check your rear pulley for excessive play and/or cracks.

Check your weights too.

Keep your rear pulley uncovered (removes heat).

Try a stock belt and see if it shreds.
