My cousin was on my 87 Elite with 62cc kit and he went to take off on a trail in the woods....it pulled a wheelie on him and he ran straight into a tree. It was d*** funny.

Are your air and idle screws adjusted properly?

an SE50 or a dio both do about 35mph stock. with amazing take off.

I have an 87 SE50p motor that I could sell. I was looking for about $100 shipped. Make me an offer. It was running when it was removed. Things missing are the carb and the fan.
The SE50 motor has limited upgrades while the Dio motor you can do almost anything you want to do to it.

Dac is right, with the Honda motors that is. The fan sucks the air in from the shroud and directs it upward towards the head. It may be different with others.

Though you may see a slight increase at lower rpm's, once you get higher in the rpm's, the airflow becomes too great for a little fan or possibly even a leaf blower to keep up. You would have to see how many cfm's the spree motor draws at its peak rpm, and find something that would flow more air ...

Now, how to read it. Ex. A #64 drill bit would produce a jet size of 91 and a #70 a jet size of 71. Guage is your numbered drill bits and jet sizes are the metric values.

First, #3 is not necessary. Second, sounds like your battery is dead. It is engaging the starter solenoid(the pop noise) but doesnt have enough juice to turn the starter motor(the buzzing noise). If you have a bettery charger, charge it a few hours on a trickle charge. Or, buy a new one.

Ya, your not gonna notice a difference. And you shouldnt need to re-jet after that minor of a change.

Well, first off, what size main do you have?

Do not drill that hole out! It will not run correctly if you do, trust me, Ive done it. Just clean it and try to get your string through. What I did was found a wire brush and plucked a wire out of it and used that to push through the hole.
