i finally got around to checking out the noise,
i still don't know what it is for sure,
but when I take off the clutch and pully cover
the sound is gone - i think it might be part of the kickstart assembly - does anything go wrong with it that it would make that kind of a rattle.
i wish i could ...

howdy,
i was out scooting around this morning,
still amazed at how much fun 25 mph can be, (i've been riding dirtbikes, since i was 11 - i just turned 25), seriously unbelievable the 50cc's of fury.
but at any rate i figured the only way to have more fun is to push in and roll on the throttle - well ...

i've been all through the links,
and it seems that very few people bore and try again.
it seems like this is a rings kinda job.
but my question is - is this just a steel bore?
isn't new rings what people do for nikasil or eletro bore.

i cleaned the carb again - it didn't seem dirty - but i gues they only due the first time.
and then i put it back together - oh i cleaned the float needle seat - incase there was a spec of dirt keeping it open. -
i put it back together and it ran great - but now sometimes it dies at idle.

my spree runs great for maybe ten minutes. and then stalls out. then will only idle.
it seriously suprised me how well it ran when i first started it.
and it accellerated right up to 25 mph.
ran steady.
then it started to sputter after a few minutes.
