I wasnt able to find a nut thin enough to fit in that little gap...i purchased a slightly thicker bolt....i bought two different ones, to fit the right lengths, I instantly felt a huge difference when mounting it....it just finished my test run, they're holding beautifully, and my spree is actually ...

forgive me, I havent been wording my posts correctly, im just really frustrated. THe carb itself is fine, works perfectly. I just cant get the air cleaner to mount to it and seal it....first i was running with one bolt...then i ordered the new ones which fell out on a ride home, i tried using nuts ...

scratch that request, i just figured it out. Ive tried using nuts and bolts. spacers and stacked washers....nothing is grabbin the carb...i fear the threads are long gone, no compression for me...therefore, a dead spree.

any thoughts on why the brakes are killing my engine??? I cant get it to idle unless ive been riding it for some time. But starting out, the engine will die if I dont accelerate, it cannot maintain itself.

forgive me, yes, by braking, the engine slowly dies down....or even by not accelertating...as it slows down the engine will cut out around 10, 5 mph.

Also, the threads on the carb are shredded, i bolted everything together, yesterday morning, using the new bolts i ordered. On the way home from work ...

I would suggest sanding it regardless, yes the primer will help the paint stick. But, by leaving the orginal paint without sanding the shine, the primer wont stick very well, then you'll have bigger problems getting the new paint off

I've been preping my spree for paint, and I've been using wet ...

try using wet sand paper, start from a low to higher grade count. I've been using it to take the paint of my spree cause im fixing to paint it. The wet sand paper breaks down the paint without applying much pressure, just wet the area you wanna sand, and the sand paper of course, and just rub over ...

I used a spacer for the outside bolt...cleaned the carb today....and the air filter...this temp. fix worked beautifully, she's up and running again, although I will switch out the bolts soon as i get the others I ordered.

Im thinking about painting the muffler, should I try to tackle that or send ...
