Compression tests out at 120. When I use a syringe to create vacuum, I get gas flow, however, apparently not enough vacuum when cranking it as the carb bowl stays empty. I checked the vacuum line and the pipe that the line connects to and both are clear. It almost runs...
Any other ideas?

We inherited a Spree and here's what we need to do to start it after it has sat for a few hours. Remove the spark plug, squirt about 3/4 - 1 ounce of gas into the cylinder, replace the plug and crank. In this situation it starts fine, and keeps running.
