ok, so the dusty hose is the fuel line. the other three hoses on the carb are for draining.
Now when you say the "not fuel line" do you mean the hose that goes directly from the fuel pump into the back of the intake manifold?

I don't know which hose goes where. I guess that's why I'm not getting any ...

woah. yeah, 4 bucks is much better than 13.
As for this fancy "premix"-ing... does that mean I'm mixing it myself or that it was pre-mixed before it got in the bottle?

thanks for the heads up. Would it help to post pics or the aero carb? Does anyone think it might be different from spree/elite models? I got the fuel line running to the top inlet of the carb, as for the others I'll check em out when I get home...

Thx for the picture tutorial.

As someone who's just cleaning the carb for the first time, I'd note that the actual cleaning is the easiest part. What gets complicated is takin ti off and putting it back on the bike.

Right now I have a bunch of hoses with no idea where they go. :? :? :?

I went by my local honda dealer and they were out of gn2, so I stopped by my local scooter shop and they recommended Motul 710 synthetic.
I'm not sure how familiar they were with Hondas but anybody here have experience with the synthetics?
Do I really need to premix this? I thought that's what the ...

Thanks for the input.
The main jet looks good. Soaked it, cleaned it. Blew some air through all the holes, so I think it's good to go.
Unfortunately, I soaked the carb with the gaskets still on.

So, I think I'm gonna go to the dealer for some oil and new gaskets.

Thx, great suggestions CSR.
I had been wondering where to get the plugs as they seemed a bit hard to find. I saw another post suggesting the Autolite 4123, so maybe I'll try that first (autozone's a short bike ride away). If not, then it's onto bikebandit.com (that's where I ordered the air filter ...

Finally started working on my aero...

First a shout to the posters on this board: thanks for all the good stuff here.

So, I picked up an 84 aero a few months ago and I've finally gotten around to fixing it up. It should be noted that I have no idea what I'm doing.
The previous owner bought it for his son, who never rode it because CA ...

I'm cleaning the carb on my aero (spree) and mine's the same. The spring came from the idle needle, not from the drain needle.
