Makeshift Petcock Cover for Honda Spree
What is everybody using for a replacement petcock cover? (assuming the original one has been lost, which it has). I have multiple Sprees, all were purchased with missing petcock covers. I just want to get some ideas of what other people are using so I can brainstorm ideas for myself.

Honda Metropolitan Variator on an Elite SE50P
Just wanted to let everybody know that I was able to use the variator, variator plate, and rollers off of a Metropolitan I found at a junk yard. The cylindrical shaft bushing variator glide thing from the Elite SE50P fits perfectly inside the Metro variator. The drive shaft on the metro is a little ...

Elite Identification
I am thinking about buying a scooter from a guy who lives about 1.5 hours away from me. He's about 200 years old, so he's having a hard time providing any information for me other than it says "Elite" on the plastics, there is a fuel gauge in the rear, and three holes in the front fender. Do those ...

I also forgot to mention that I have an aftermarket filter (chevy v8 style). It will idle with stock jet and clip in stock position, but once throttle was increased it would missfire and then die completely once the plug became completely soaked with oil.

At partial throttle no power and missfire
I took a perfectly running spree, drilled out 2 baffles, ported intake, re-jetted. At WOT it runs fine, plug chop is perfect. But partial throttle doesn't work, it missfires and is boggy. I adjusted the clip to the bottom and middle settings and it doesn't make a difference. What else can I adjust?

wet spark plug
What does it mean when I put a new spark plug in, I am able to run at WOT for only about 15 seconds and then it will die if I try to give it any gas (it will still idle ok.) Pulled the plug and it's soaked with oil/fuel. Tried it again, same thing happened.
