i have had a few customized spree in my day i had 2 show bikes that took first place just about everytime. i had air brushing done custom paint jobs ect.. i know what it takes to make one look good i was just saying its kinda pointless to get thos rims caromed .

Just use some lube, put the rim on solid ground and use your weight/strength to pop the bead back over the rim. If it seems like it still won't pop on, leave the tire out in the sun to soften up the rubber a little. I got mine on with little to no effort this way. Good luck!

Looking for ideas for extra storage.

Right now I have a milk crate in the back tied up to the rack with some rope. Soon I'll replace the rope with two metal plates with nuts and bolts.

I'm thinking if there is a way to rig one of those folding bicycle side baskets to the side of the scoot.

Yes, if the previous owner never changed any of the other locks, your ignition key should work for your seat/glove box lock.
