I know this is going to sound silly but it fixed my turn signals that did not work. My left hand turn signals worked but not the right. The bulbs were ok. I got my volt meter out to see if the wiring connections were getting voltage when the turn signals were turned on.

Ok guys, I figured it out. I took the bystarter off and looked at it again. The spring is the one that pushes the bystarter needle down. It must of fell out before when I took the bystarter off. I didn't try to take the brass holder off before but this time when I took the bystarter off the little ...

I didn't take the bystarter apart, the needle is still on it. Didn't take the throttle cable end off either. I am going to take the spring off of the bystarter needle and see what happens.

Is there a little spring that goes on the bystarter needle before you plug it into the carb? I had a little spring 5/8 inches long by 1/8 inch in diameter that I didn't know where it came from so I put it on the bystarter needle before plugging it into the carb.

I can't believe it. They both started. I didn't know you had to put the brake on. That's what I get for not having an owners manual. It would be nice if all problems were that easy to fix.

I know this has been covered before but I could not find the answer. When I hit the starter button nothing happens. I tried jumping from another bike battery, but still nothing. I looked at the wiring diagrams could not figure them out, not too good at electrics.

Should I be able to get a voltage ...

OK, I think I found the problem with mine. It is running fine and idles good. The problem was the tube under the throttle needle was slightly plugged up. I looked at the Clean The Carb write up and saw the tube. When I cleaned my carb before I didn't know the tube was there.

I didn't take that spring apart from the slide. This spring is about 5/8 inch long and 1/8 inch around. I am pretty sure it goes on the needle in the by-starter(?).

Put Yamalube 2S in it. Since the last post I looked at the Clean The Carb article and have removed the carb and cleaned the tube under the jet that is screwed in (I forget the name of it).
