Re: Has anyone successfully Turbo/Supercharged one of these?

Upon further thinking you might get SOME boost to the chamber if its got a fairly small exhaust outlet(tuned pipe, you would be pressurizing the pipe, that probably how the vespa is getting the gain it does).
the turbocharger IS the restriction in the exhaust, so it will almost be compating itself ...

I was talking with my shop owner/boss just kidding around and asked him if he's ever seen a turbocharged a 2 stroke.. and he knew exactly ...

anybody run w/o a petcock? /thread size

is anyone around here running without the vacuum operated petcock?

mine is malfunctioning, and i am thinking about just running a straight line to the carb.

does anyone happen to know what size threads are coming off the tank (that the petcock attatches to?)

thanks

i did this on my brand new crank!
i was upset. i changed out my variator weights like 10 times, and on the last one when i got it right i forgot to tighten the stupid thing.

there is a lock tight that is made for splines, then put an impact on it and get it good and tight.

ive had mine like that ...

Re: Vacuum Insufficiency

Greetings:

My Aero had identical symptoms. Except the 65 MPH part. :)

Turns out my vacuum line to the petcock wasn't quite airtight. It had enough vacuum to open fuel flow during normal operation, but the combination of lowered vacuum and increased fuel demand at WOT caused it to starve for fuel ...
